The Word of God

(Meditating on Psalm 99) The Word of God is no less than a gateway to life. A window through which we are given to glimpse the eternal reality. The portal through which we are escorted to dwell in truth and beauty and goodness. We live in this world as tightly closed buds, moving here and there within a shell of shadow, only to burst forth into glorious bloom when once we submit to God's lordship, and suffer to be brought into communion with Him.
